N-trig Announces Stylus for Android Hardware

N-trig today announced that it has made its DuoSense pen and capacitive touch displays compatible with the Android operating system. N-trig believes that offering Android hardware makers the opportunity to incorporate a stylus/pen for mobile computing (in addition to multitouch) will lead to richer content creation applications. N-trig said that its customers plan to debut DuoSense on Android devices beginning in 2011.

Actually, the real appeal here is for Android-based tablet/slate devices. The one thing that is sorely lacking in the current generation of tablets/slates is the (usable) ability to write with a stylus. You can do it, but it's not as mature as it sh...

The option to use a stylus would be nice.
I can see where it will help with smaller screen phones and tablets.
