DoubleTwist today announced a new version of its software that will allow Android devices to wirelessly sync music and other content between their PC and their smartphone. The feature, called AirSync, requires new software for both the smartphone and the computer (either Mac or Windows). Once the basic free software components are both downloaded, users need to launch DoubleTwist on their device and then pay $0.99 to upgrade for the AirSync feature. (The price goes up to $4.99 for AirSync after the first 10,000 downloads.) Users then pair the phone with their computer via Wi-Fi and can then begin syncing iTunes playlists wirelessly.
