Wirefly today rolled out a new mobile backup service for most phones, platforms and carriers. The service, called Wirefly Mobile Backup, lets users sync and store up to 2GB of contacts, pictures, calendar entries, ringtones, and music for free on Wirefly's servers. At launch, the service supports Android, iPhone, BlackBerry and Windows Mobile 6.x. Wirefly said that the service will support the Palm, Java, Windows Phone 7 and Symbian operating systems by the end of the year. The service also allows users to transfer data from one phone to another, as well as transfer the data from a phone to a computer.
