T-Mobile today announced new data plan options for its customers, including a tethering option for smartphone users. The two new plan options offer 200MB per month for $10 per month with a new contract, or $15 per month for those not wishing to sign a contract. The new unlimited plan will cost $30 per month. The new smartphone tethering plan will allow properly equipped devices (such as select Android handsets) to share Wi-Fi with other devices for $45 per month ($30 unlimited plan + $15 tethering/sharing add-on). The tethering and Wi-Fi sharing plan will be available before the holidays.
