Samsung and MetroPCS today announced the SCH-R360 Freeform II, a bar-style device with a QWERTY keyboard for messaging. The Freeform II carriers forward many features of the original, such as a 1.3 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, GPS and a microSD card slot (supports cards up to 16GB). The Freeform II also has a 2.2-inch display, threaded SMS/MMS messaging, and a media player. It supports MetroPCS' 3G network, and is available starting today at all MetroPCS outlets.
