Research In Motion today announced the availability of Meebo beta for its BlackBerry devices. The new beta of Meebo for BlackBerries was developed by both Meebo and RIM to take advantage of the innate features and functions of the BlackBerry platform. It lets users connect to and manage their Meebo account from their device, as well as chat with friends across AIM, Yahoo, Google, Facebook and other IM networks. According to RIM, the Meebo beta software will automatically configure itself on the BlackBerry to match a Meebo user's online account settings, and will also allow Meebo-based conversations to be transitioned from online to mobile and vice versa. Meebo beta for BlackBerries is a free download.
