Motorola's Latest 'Grasp' At a QWERTY Phone

Motorola recently revealed details about the Grasp, a new bar-style phone with QWERTY keyboard for messaging. This Grasp is a tri-band CDMA EVDO device supporting 1700MHz AWS spectrum, which could earmark the Grasp for Cricket or MetroPCS. The Grasp is BFR and PCV free, and the housing is 100% recyclable when it reaches the end of its useful life. Other features of the Grasp include a 1.3 megapixel camera with video capture, MP3 player, 3.5mm headset jack, stereo Bluetooth, threaded messaging and aGPS. The Grasp has a 2.2-inch 220 X 176 QCIF+display, and supports microSD cards up to 8GB. The Grasp was previously outed by the FCC as the WX404. No carriers have announced plans to sell this device.
