I can't think of a better reason...

...to snatch up the Pre. WebOS is terrific.
I agree. WebOS is by far my favorite operating system available today!

When you practically give it away...

You know it's a flop.
Sad thing is Webos is amazing. I am carrying the Pre right now and I love it....quirky ass issues aside. But you are right....flop central. 😢

And this is why indirects don't push this phone.

It costs SO much to purchase outright, and yet, it's $30.. not even 130 with a 100, but 30. Short of a new high end primary activation, it would be next to impossible to make money on this device (unless verizon is offering some serious spiffs, which I doubt)

Even when it was going for 199, the loss on it was greater than the loss on even the droid.
Yep, thats why we have 300 stores and were not buying it for them 😎
Verizon has seriously upped the spiffs, but, I would imagine that it probably it still comes in as a loss.
Verizon is giving us a $350 spiff on this device. 😁
