Bluecoyote's amazingly accurate prediction:

iPhone 4.0 will introduce some new feature that an existing handset on the market has but is implemented ridiculously poorly. The iPhone's implementation will be amazingly well thought out and actually useful and solves problems instead of creating new ones. (See Android's craptacular multitasking.)

However, this will not stop individuals stuck on their parent's Verizon/Sprint/Boost Mobile plan from pointing out how their phone "ALREADY HAD THE SAME FEATURE APPPPLEEE$$$$ COPIED IT"
actually they would copy it. The same way apple is suing others for using the touchscreen to unlock the device even if the implementation is NOTHING like the one apple uses.

You can't have it both ways blue, you can't have apple "constantly innova...

to BlueCoyote for being one of the best trolls ever. He's well prepared and knows just what to say to piss people off. It makes me laugh so hard. I love reading his posts and replies.

Anyone care to make predictions????

What will iPhone 4.0 bring to the iPhone???

It sounds like a major overhaul... but is it?

I like the idea of multitasking, and maybe some customization tweeks *crosses fingers for something as simple as backgrounds*

I'd also like to see a way to respond to a text message right from the pop-up window, AND a way to make text pop-ups less intrusive. (kind of like the way the pre handles texting)

what do you think?
apple will do what they did with the ipad, announce something magical....but it still won't do flash 🤣
...
yes the text less intrusive. i use the metronome app as a drummer for shows and i hate having to turn the radio off because i forget and dont realize until the next morning. that would really make my life less annoying.
...
Prediction only:

1) Faster rendering of info
2) Better screen resolution
3) More efficient
4) Optimized for upcoming 4G technology
5) Allowance of more customization
6) Multi-tasking

copies the competition, and the faithful praise Jobs and consider the "innovation" the best thing in the world.

Apple has to be scared now that they have true competition (Palm, Android... even 7 on the horizon).

Unless Apple actually innovates,...

I predict the new OS will allow a couple minor things that any other device can do like backgrounds and Apple will promise "future updates" to be capable of all the useful things like multitasking, when the almighty Jobs feels his minions have earned ...

Pop-up messages - including text messages and push notifications - have to change. It was always bad, but now with more third-party apps doing real push notifications, it's unusable. If hope for their sake that they're going to announce notifications ...

Tethering would be nice. We were promised that before the end of last year but it has yet to happen.

Multi exchange accounts would be nice too as well as a missed call or voicemail notification. That’s one thing I miss from my old ph...

Whatever the changes, some will see them as an attempt by Apple to catch up with the rest of the market. Others will see them as validation that no feature is truly worthwhile until it appears on the iPhone. And if while responding to the OP, one ca...

Once and for All...

Apple Fan Boy here...

For once, I am not going to make any speculations. I think there have been enough of those going around. I am going to sit and wait for it to come out of Jobs' mouth.
The same stuff that come out of his mouth comes out of the a$$ of Toro! He is a bull!

Insane predictions...

You know what would be really cool?

(I completely understand these will NEVER happen but...)

Steve Jobs steps onto the stage and holds up his iPhone 3Gs and states:

"Plug it into iTunes, your processor will be given a 1.5ghz upgrade magically"

***crowd goes wild***

"press the home button and the volume up button three times in a row and BAM! a flash for your camera!"

***people are fainting in the crowd, there are flashes everywhere from iPhones***

"Now go ahead and press and hold the space bar on your iPhone and the letters will raise up out of the screen, you now have a physical keyboard but ONLY when you need it!***

***screams from the audience, people are standing and cheering***

"if you own an iPhone, and your...

My phone has a flash. It also has a physical keyboard that I can use only when I want or need to.

What would really be awesome if the general public wasn't so easily convince what the ''best'' or ''coolest'' product is by the company the has the b...

Great Website.

I can see Jobs on stage spewing his worn out BS while all the kool-aid drinkers are stroking themselves. This should be good.
