Samsung's Stunt Lands at Cricket

Today Samsung announced that it is offering the SCH-r100 Stunt to Cricket customers. The Stunt is a tri-band CDMA bar-style phone that has entry level features. It includes Bluetooth, speakerphone, and simple messaging services. It costs $100.

T-Mobile phones will soon display a new icon in the status bar to indicate when they are connected to 5G in a higher frequency band that offers faster data speeds. The icon will appear first on the newest iPhones, and the company is working with phone makers "to include this update on as many devices as possible".

TCL today announced the TCL 20 A 5G, a 5G phone for under $200 coming to Visible next month. The company also announced the TCL 20 XE, an entry-level 4G phone coming to Metro by T-Mobile tomorrow, and Boost next month.

Cricket has started selling two new Cricket-branded phones: the Cricket Icon 4 and Cricket Innovate E 5G. While Cricket has offered many such white-label phones in the recent years, these additions bring the number of own-brand phones the company now sells to ten, possibly a record number for any US carrier.

You CAN replace the battery
You CAN use it without a data plan
You CAN download basic apps with it
You CAN take photos and send them
You CAN use the physical keyboard to type
You CAN get more than one day's use out of the battery

Who would pay 100$ dollars for a POS phone like this? This phone looks like my boyfriends Kyocera JAX phone and he paid ten bucks for it! I can't believe they post this stupid phone like it's better then a droid or an iphone 🤣.
