Google Intros Browser-Based Version of Voice for iPhone

Today Google announced a new version of Google Voice for the iPhone. Google appears to be circumventing Apple's iPhone Apps Store approval process by making this version of Voice work in the iPhone's browser rather than as a stand-alone application. Google says that the new version of Voice for the iPhone is more interactive than the previous browser-based tool. It lets users listen to voicemails through the browser, as well as make phone calls from a web-based dial pad within the web app. The new Google Voice app will work on iPhones with system software 3.0 and higher. It also works within the browser of Palm's webOS devices.

Release date?

Ok so this is so cool. Finally something from Google for us iPhone users. I went to google.com/voice from my iPhone browser and nothing has changed. Anyone have an idea of when this updated web app will work?
I went to it as soon as I saw it and noticed a more user friendly interface for my Iphone.
Unless I am missing something that's it?
...
For some reason I am not able to click on the icons once I see the new GV interface. Anyone else having issues?
