Boost Mobile Adding BlackBerry, Sanyo Phones to Unlimited Offering

Boost Mobile is prepared to offer its Monthly Unlimited plans on three CDMA handsets that will be released later this month. The Kyocera Sanyo Mirro SCP3810 and Sanyo Incognito SCP6760 can take advantage of the $50 Monthly Unlimited plan. The BlackBerry Curve 8330 will require users to choose the $70 Monthly Unlimited plan. The Mirro will cost $100, the Incognito will cost $150 and the Curve 8330 will cost $250. Boost Mobile does not require contracts.

Straight Talk is better
I must say that I like the BlackBerry but I prefer to stay with Straight Talk because they are on Verizon's network nationwide so they have better coverage even if Boost does go on the CDMA network. I get unlimited talk, texts and data for only $45 per month and the phones are really nice, not the cheep things that Tracfone offers. So I'm not going to change even though they offer the BlackBerry.
Boost and Virgin?
Well I remeber seeing on here a while ago that you could use boost phones on virgin mobile and vice versa. My dad is thinking about getting the blackberry * thank god cause he has a marble and it laggs sooo bad lol*. But does this mean you can get the curve for boost and use it with virgin? If thats the case I may have to think about upgrading myself from X_tc to a bb curve lol.
Boost and virgin are not inerchangeable. Yon can't use boost phones on virgin or virgin phones on boost.
Going back on to CDMA?
What's the reason for pushing cdma again? With the new direction Iden is going with open doors to developers is there something Sprint is doing on Iden?
I thought the exact same thing. Remember about two years ago, they said they were getting rid of CMDA and pushing the IDEN strong. Now it's a complete opposite. I wonder if they have big plans for IDEN now that they've opened it up to developers. ...

😁 I had Boost Mobile a boost mobile KRZR before and I loved there service and I was dissapointed when they stopped making CDMA phones! I had metroPieceOfShit but it sucked they were alot of hidden fees! so right now I have Virgin Mobile but there Unlimited plan only includes calling, so that sucks! Im really glad that Boost Is going to be Sprints only prepay carrier and I hope they come out with some Samsung phone too.

Hmmm....if they roll out the new phones before the end of the month, you can terminate your sprint contract w/o an ETF (due to a surcharge increase) and jump to Boost with their CDMA lineup. Cheap plans and good phones. What a deal!
Sprint also owns Virgin Mobile.
What about 8330 Roaming
Anyone know if the BB 8330 will have any issues roaming between Sprints PCS Spectrum to a network with AWS spectrum?

The 8330 does not support AWS. Likely it will not roam off of the sprint pcs network to begin with.

The 8330? Should it not be the 8350i with the walkie-talkie capability? That's Boost's siganture feature!
Theres 2 sides to Boost.. Theres Boost Unlimited CDMA, which uses sprints technology so no walkie-talkie, then theres Boost Mobile IDEN, which uses nextel technology which has walkie-talkie. The Blackberry is coming out for Boost Unlimited CDMA.
