Today research In Motion is making available a Media Sync 3.0 to both the Microsoft Windows and Apple's OSX platforms. This update to Media Sync adds several new features, including two-way photo syncing to Windows PCs. Media Sync 3.0 adds folders for syncing with the option to optimize photos to make the best use of available memory. Users of Windows PCs will now be able to set folders to automatically sync, and will be alerted when they connect their BlackBerry to their PC and new pictures are available to be synced back to the PC. The new version also improves music syncing for both Windows and Apple OSX machines and works with both Windows Media Player and iTunes. The software is a free download and is compatible with all media capable BlackBerries.
