Samsung Debuts the Galaxy Spica Android Phone

Samsung has announced a new Android phone, called the Galaxy Spica i5700. The Galaxy has quad-band GSM/EDGE and 900/2100MHz HSDPA 3G at 3.6Mbps. It runs on an 800MHz processor, and ships with Android version 1.5. It has a 3.2-inch touch display with 320 x 480 resolution. Other features include a 3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, support for 32GB microSD cards, and also comes with DNSe 2.0 for better sound quality and 3.5 mm ear jack. The Galaxy Spica is available in select European and Asian markets starting today.
