T-Mobile Launches the Tap Touch Phone

Today T-Mobile made the Tap touch phone available for sale. The Tap is a monoblock-style device with a large touch screen and touch user interface. The Tap has quad-band GSM/EDGE radios and supports T-Mobile's 1700MHz UMTS/HSDPA 3G network. The Tap, which was made by Huawei, includes a 2 megapixel camera with video capture, music player, GPS, FM radio, and stereo Bluetooth. It supports microSD cards up to 8GB. The Tap can access T-Mobile's web2go services and also supports most messaging applications such as SMS/MMS and email. The Tap costs $80 after rebates with new agreement.
