Samsung to Cease Developing Symbian Phones

Samsung senior vice president Don Joo Lee recently said that moving forward the company plans to limit its platform support to Android, Windows Mobile, and its own new Bada operating system. It will no longer develop and sell handsets based on the Symbian platform. Samsung will continue to work on high definition displays for phones, as well as higher performance processors and incorporate Long Term Evolution capabilities into its handset lineup.

Good Riddence.

I just bought my first symbian S60 phone a week ago and absolutely abhor it. I am begging people to please answer this simple question;

What is good about Symbian??????

Even texting is a chore on this phone!
Symbian was good like, 5 years ago when the alternatives were Windows Mobile and the ever-aging PalmOS, and the Blackberry OS had no media / web capability to be found.
