RIM to Merge Adobe's Flash into BlackBerry Platform

Today Research In Motion and Adobe announced that the two will work together to integrate Flash technology into the BlackBerry development platform. This new level of integration will let developers use Adobe Flash and Adobe Creative Suite tools to create content and applications for BlackBerry devices. Developers that use Adobe's tool sets will have a much easier time porting image and video content from applications such as PhotoShop, Illustrator, and After Effects into BlackBerry development tools such as the BlackBerry java Eclipse plug-in. The new Flash tools should make for better applications and services for end users.
