Nokia Siemens Runs LTE Tests with Four Device Companies

Nokia Siemens Networks recently conducted field tests of its Long Term Evolution base station equipment with 3GPP-compliant hardware from other manufacturers. Nokia Siemens conducted the tests in Dallas, Ulm, and Oulu in the 700MHz AWS, 1700MHz, and 2100MHz frequency bands. According to Nokia Siemens Networks, the tests prove the interoperability of its own equipment with that of others. Four handset makers took part in the tests, but they were not named.
