Google Maps for BlackBerry Now Supports Layers

Today Google made a new version of Google Maps for Mobile available to the BlackBerry platform. Google Maps version 3.2 brings a major new feature to BlackBerries -- the ability to view distinct layers. Layers can display information such as Wikipedia entries, transit details, friends' Latitude coordinates and other data. The software is a free update from Google. Google Maps for Mobile already supports layers for the Windows Mobile and Symbian platforms.
