Consumer Cellular Tempts Seniors with Doro Phones

Consumer Cellular recently announced the addition of two new phones to its stable of senior-focused handsets. The Doro PhoneEasy 410 and 345 both have large buttons, strong vibrating alerts, loud ringers, Bluetooth and support for hearing aids. The phones also feature an alarm clock, FM radio, calculator, flashlight and games, which can be turned off for an easier-to-interact-with menu. Both phones require a $35 activation fee and have plans that cost $20 per month for 250 minutes.

  • 410: The 410 is a basic clamshell that comes in either black or white. It costs $50.
  • 345: This is a simple bar-style phone that costs $40.
