T-Mobile has temporarily ceased selling the Sidekick family of devices online and in some retail stores in the wake of the data service outage and end-user data loss experienced last week and over the weekend. T-Mobile has also provided an update about its Sidekick services and what it is doing for customers. "At this point, virtually all data services are operational. Also, T-Mobile voice and text services were not impacted. All impacted Sidekick users will receive credit for one month of Sidekick data service. We recognize the magnitude of this inconvenience. Our primary efforts have been focused on restoring our customers' personal content. We also are considering additional measures for those who have lost your content to help reinforce how valuable you are as a T-Mobile customer."
