According to a document filed with the FCC, Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen has agreed to sell an undisclosed amount of wireless spectrum to AT&T. AT&T will buy the spectrum licenses, which cover portions of Oregon and Washington states, from Allen's Vulcan Spectrum company. AT&T did not disclose financial terms of the deal, but AT&T did confirm for Phone Scoop that the spectrum is in the 700MHz band. The spectrum will be used to meet customer demand in those regions and help AT&T with its transition to LTE in the future.
