Today Sprint began selling the Samsung M330, a new slider that offers entry-level specs. This feature phone comes with a VGA camera, Bluetooth, web browser, and speakerphone. It is limited to 1x data and is compatible with Sprint services such as PictureMail. It is free online after discounts with new agreement and comes in either white or silver.

seriously who does vga cameras anymore these days...I understand "entry level" but at least throw in a 1.3Mp lens. 🤣
There are always going to be customers out there who need a new BASIC phone... so why make it more expensive than it needs to be if you're going to offer it for free.
I agree but there are still so many customers out there who don't even want a camera. Sure they're mostly all in their 90's but they have the midset that features mean the phone is hard to operate and are too stubborn to think otherwise.

It looks like they took the Rant and scaled it down to a non-QWERTY slider. The shape and d-pad have the same exact design.
It looks like the LG 370 at Sprint. Does Sprint really need 3 similar looking low end slider phones?

Why? Did they miss the target of Verizon or T-Mobile or at&t? Is that why it landed at Sprint? Crash landed? Cloudy conditions forced it to land at that company? Did sprint shoot it down and forced it to be in its company's grasp?
