Google's Android developer team announced that it will be making some changes to the Android Market with Android version 1.6. The biggest improvement will be support for screen shots, longer application descriptions and better promotional icons. Google also said that it is adding four new subcategories to the market, including sports, health, themes, and comics. Google had made a promotional video that details the changes. Google did not say when Android 1.6 will be available to Android handsets.
