Verizon Wireless Intros Low-Cost World Phone

Today Verizon Wireless announced the Escapade, a new entry-level handset that has quad-band GSM/EDGE radios and can roam in countries around the world. The Escapade, made by PCD, is a clamshall that has CDMA 1x for data in the U.S., dual displays, a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and GPS. The Escapade will be available starting August 21 for $30 after rebate with new agreement.
