Research In Motion recently unveiled an online portal to the BlackBerry App World application store. The web interface lets users browse for applications much faster and easier than via the handset-based client. Once a user finds an application they like, they can have an email link to the application sent to their BlackBerry, making it faster to find and download to the handset. Applications can not be downloaded or purchased from the web portal, but it makes the discovery process much easier.

Give us a NEW OS! no more bandaids!

AHHHHH!!!

Blackberry, your killing me! Your operating system is obsolete!

It's like the guy who refuses to buy a new car, instead he adds a new coat of spray paint every few months to cover up the rust and puts a subwoofer in it that does more damage than good!

That is because of the application memory issue

The Bold and the Storm have low application memory so they put the store online to save the device memory. http://mobilewiseguy.com/2009/08/19/blackberr y-application-store.aspx
