Today Novatel announced the MiFi 2372. It will support quad-band GSM/EDGE and tri-band 850/1900/2100MHz UMTS/HSPA (7.2Mbps down, 5.6Mbps up) cellular networks, and GPS location services. The MiFi is also a Wi-Fi hotspot, allowing multiple devices (phones, laptops, etc.) to access 3G data services at once. The MiFi 2372 also adds a microSD slot for storage and has internal memory and on-board applications processor that can power applications and media.
