Google Grants iPhone Browser Location Powers

Google recently offered a new service for iPhones that should help make finding local results a little bit easier. Using the Safari browser, iPhone users who visit Google.com can turn on the My Location feature. With that feature enabled, Google will return results that are relevant to the location of the iPhone. For example, if a user searches for "coffee", Google will send them results of coffee shops that are nearby. The feature requires users to opt-in, and can be turned off at any time. If the user happens to change locations, there is a tool that will allow them to update their location on the Google home page.
