Alltel is running a back-to-school promotion for new and existing customers with My Circle plans, Smart Choice Packs, and Bundled Wireless Internet. Under the terms of the promotion, customers can add up to four new lines to their accounts and pay a $25 activation fee per line. They will then get three months of free service on those new lines. The promotion, which runs through September 10, is available in the remaining 91 active Alltel markets.

Or you could just give-it-away!

🙄 Its like salt in the wounds of those just converted...
indeed
Alltel has been doing this for a few years now. 🙄
From my understanding, it's an annual promotion. On top of that, these Divested markets need to bulk up their subscriber list to make them more attractive to companies looking to buy them.

This could be good.

This could be good for them. Because sprint has released some information to us showing that customer that cancel usually cancel within the first 90 days. so usually if you have them after 90 days, then they're going to stay. 😉
yeah they get complacent and just go "oh well" by that point.

Heck, I wouldn't want to jack with something for 3 months either.

hasn't the Verizon Wireless merger completed???

All Alltel accounts in Virginia are Verizon Wireless now and the Alltel stores have closed.
Nevermind...I see that Alltel is still in business in some markets.

It's back!

This has been running this time every year, for three years now. Excellent promo.
Man, if I didn't work for AT&T I'd probably take advantage of this one lol...
