Today Amazon.com announced the beta launch of AmazonWireless.com. This new web site will focus solely on selling cell phones and associated wireless services from AT&T and Verizon Wireless. The site offers over 120 phone models from the two carriers, and will offer free two-day shipping on most models. AmazonWireless.com will also automatically deduct rebates, so consumers can avoid the hassle of mailing in rebate forms. Customers can shop for phones by carrier, phone feature, price, color and brand. The purchasing process will guide users through their selection of devices, plans and additional features. Amazon also said that it will be testing different features during the beta period of AmazonWireless.com. AmazonWireless.com is owned and operated by Amazon, and not Amazon's affiliates.
