New documents sighted on the FCC Web site reveal more details about the Casio Exilim camera phone. The Exilim has dual-band CDMA/EVDO Rev. A and Bluetooth radios. Pictures show that the Exilim is a clamshell with a 5.1-megapixel camera with optical zoom, video capture and flash. It also has dedicated media playback keys. According to the draft user manual, the Exilim is moisture, dust and shock resistant. Other features mentioned include support for microSD cards, TV out and support for many of Verizon Wireless' services, such as V CAST. Neither Casio nor Verizon have announced this device.

looks kinda...

wierd..

a clamshell with shiny black top and silver metalic bottom...

is that a lock that i see on the bottom part?(so u dont accidentally open it?) 😳
I think that's a battery door lock. Quite common on a lot of phones...
The lock is to seal the battery compartment so when you drop it in the pool by accident then it is not destroyed πŸ˜‰

definitely a nice phone

These started to get delivered to stores 5 days ago. Played with one for a little while and liked it. Comes with a cradle for charging and connecting to computer. The cradle has both the proprietary 18 pin connector that's found on some lg and the casio 711, as well as a mini usb plug.
Pics look good. If stores already have it, I'll check it out on my lunch hour or after work.
