Speaking at a technology conference in New York City, AT&T Mobility CEO Ralph de la Vega said that the company is considering options to offer a more competitive rate plan for iPhone users. He said, "Right now we continue to study what is the best thing that is available, not just from an iPhone point of view, but what you can do to stimulate additional demand." Right now, the minimum monthly fee for the iPhone is about $70, including a voice plan and the $30 unlimited data plan. One option the company is considering is a lower-cost plan that has a limit on the amount of data that can be consumed. AT&T has not made any final decisions yet.
