Nokia Intros a Trio of Entry-Level Handsets

Today Nokia announced three new handsets that are aimed at emerging markets. All three devices come with Nokia's Ovi software on board, including Life Tools and Ovi Mail. They all have quad-band GSM, Bluetooth and FM radios.
- 2730 Classic: This bar-style phone is the most feature rich of the three, and will come in two 3G variants, including a WCDMA 850/1900 version supporting U.S. 3G bands. The 2730 also has Bluetooth 2.0+EDR with A2DP support; a 2 megapixel camera with video capture; support for 2GB microSD cards; and Nokia audio messaging. It will be available in the third quarter.
- 7020: This flip phone's stand-out feature lets you double-tap the front of the phone to turn on the outer display to see notifications. It also has a 2 megapixel camera, MP3 player, accelerometer and support for microSD cards. It will be available in the fourth quarter.
- 2720 Fold: This clamshell has a 1.3 megapixel camera and GSM/GPRS data. It will be available in the third quarter.
