Verizon Wireless Introduces Mexico-Friendly Calling Plan

Today Verizon Wireless rolled out a new voice plan called Nationwide Plus Mexico. The new plan gives subscribers 1000 night and weekend minutes to use in the U.S. and Mexico; unlimited mobile to mobile calling minutes while in the U.S.; and the plan doesn't charge long-distance fees. Nationwide Plus Mexico starts at $55 per month.

So ...

Why is my Nationwide Plus Canada 450 plan $59.99 a month while the Mexico equivalent starts at $54.99? Is Canada really that much more foreign than Mexico? 🤨

Roaming in Mexico is not as much as it is in Canada because of the lack of CDMA coverage in Mexico. There is more CDMA coverage in Canada like it is in the US.
It won't matter soon Mexico Canada and the Us with be called the North American Union!! (Not such a good thing) Once obama makes that final!! The US is a thing of the past
