Today Verizon announced a new tool for subscribers to its FiOS TV Media Manager DVR. The service allows customers to remotely review, change or add recording requests, delete recorded programs, browse and search TV and video-on-demand listings, and set parental controls from wireless handsets. The service is accessed via the mobile Web. Most phones with mobile browsers and data plans can access the DVR site and interact with their DVRs. Users must subscribe to the FiOS TV Home Media DVR.
