FCC Approves of LTE Device from LG

Documents seen on the FCC web site reveal information about a new device from LG that appears to be one of the first — if not the actual first — Long Term Evolution devices approved for use in the U.S. The device, which is not a phone, is not described in any way, other than as "LTE User Equipment." The single-band device transmits in the 1700MHz AWS band only. There are no other real details provided in the documents.

it looks like T-mobile beat everyone to the game with LTE 😲
Or MetroPCS...or Cricket...or all the other users of the 1700 band...T-Mobile just launched their 3g network, you really think they are coming out with LTE first?

MetroPCS

This could be a LTE dongle for laptops for MetroPCS.
I have doubts that any device actually targeted for consumers would be single band/LTE only.
