RIM Gives Its App Store a Name

Research In Motion has officially named its BlackBerry application store "BlackBerry App World." Consumers can sign up to receive notifications about the site's launch, which is expected in the near future.

are you kidding me?

I mean, "blackberry app world"? it's like they got help naming this from the current writers of SNL - what a cheesy name 🤣
I think the "BlackMarket" would have been good, but RIM is mostly in the market of doing lame imitations of Apple products, so I guess it's a fitting, honest name.
