Today MapQuest announced a new version of its MapQuest 4 Mobile application. Of the new features in the mobile mapping software, the most significant is the addition of MapQuest's My Places. My Places lets registered users save maps, routes, and locations on the desktop version of MapQuest and sync them with the mobile version on their phone. The software is a free download and supports some BlackBerry phones. It will support more platforms in the months ahead.
