Today Yahoo introduced a new mobile product called Yahoo Mobile. Yahoo Mobile will be both a web site and an application for the iPhone, Windows Mobile, BlackBerry OS, Symbian S60 and Series 40, and some phones running that can run Java applications. It will also be available via the web to Webkit enabled phones, such as the HTC G1 and Magic. Yahoo Mobile ties together many of Yahoo's services, including oneSearch, oneConnect, onePlace, email, contacts and calendar in one portal. More advanced phones will receive additional capabilities, including oneSearch with Voice, Opera Mini 4.2 and the use of widgets. Yahoo Mobile will be available in a managed beta starting today and will see a general release in the second quarter.
