Today the Android Developers Blog announced that the Android Market is now accepting priced applications from U.S. and U.K. developers. Interested developers should use the Android publisher web site to upload their applications with pricing schemes for the apps. Google says that priced applications will be available to end users in the U.S. starting in the middle of next week. Google will add support for other countries over time. Users will need to use Google Checkout to complete purchases.

Android paid apps

What is so hard for Google to understand we do not want to deal with these paid apps for the Android????

We buy the phone, we pay for the service now they want us to pay for junk apps.

Just load in Mobile 6.5 and leave us alone.
No ones forcing you to pay for apps. There will be plenty of free apps on the market. But if you want to use a horrible OS like WinMo then go right ahead.
Who is this "we" you speak of? I don't mind paying for quality apps.

This is why iPhone has had more/better APPS...

iPhone's App store has had paid apps available since Appstore launched. Developers need a way to make money for their work. Maybe now we will see some better apps on the Android Marketplace.

The G1....

Ok so I just got my G1 today, all I can say is WOW!! Yea battery sucks and I knew that to begin with but idc. I have a dash too with a different number. My G1 is my luxury phone and much like luxury cars they suck the juice down quick but they're fun as hell to play with! 🤣
Get the Sedio 2600 extended life battery. Adds 5MM to the back, but you'll get 2-3x the battey life of the OEM battery.
