Skyfire has released a new beta version of its mobile browser for the Nokia Symbian S60, Windows Mobile 6.1 Standard and Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional platforms. The biggest updates to the browser include integration of Facebook and Twitter. Skyfire now features what it calls a "real-time activity wall." This wall collects feeds from a user's news, media, Facebook and Twitter accounts. This means users can import their Twitter stream or friends' status updates directly to the browser. Skyfire 0.9 will be preloaded with feeds from Digg, ESPN, Google News, Hulu, YouTube and Yahoo! News, all of which will update in real time. Skyfire 0.9 also adds improvements to text rendering so that users don't have to scroll around as much, and it now supports phones with WVGA and WQVGA resolutions. The beta software is a free download.
