Today Nokia announced the newest handset in its XpressMusic line, the 6530, a bar-style phone that runs S60 rather than Series 40. The 5630 integrates some of the elements seen in S60 5th Edition (which is used for the 5800 and N97), including the new Contact Bar, which lets users find and interact with their favorite contacts much faster. The application shortcut bar has been moved to the bottom of the screen. Other key features include Nokia's Say and Play software, which lets users speak the name of an artist or song to automatically play it. The 5630 also supports 16GB microSD cards (it will be boxed with a 4GB card. It has a 3.5mm headset jack, a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, and is compatible with Nokia's N-Gage gaming platform. It costs $256 and will be available in the second quarter of 2009.
