First Handset Based on Snapdragon Comes to Light

A new handset from Toshiba, the TG01, appears to be the first cellphone using the Snapdragon chipset from Qualcomm. The TG01 has a 1Ghz Snapdragon processor inside its 9.9mm body. The TG01 also has a 4.1-inch WVGA touch display. It runs Windows Mobile 6.1, but has a customized user interface. Other specs of this phone include HSDPA data, Wi-Fi, GPS, and a microSD slot. The phone will be available in the summer.
