Today Boost Mobile announced the new Motorola i9 Stature. Boost is calling the i9 the "the thinnest flip phone in the Nextel Direct Connect portfolio" and it includes a touch-sensitive exterior flip, a 3.1 megapixel camera with flash and auto-focus, external control keys for music and GPS applications, and Motorola's ModeShift keypad technology. It also has haptics feedback, stereo Bluetooth, and supports microSD cards up to 8GB. It supports Group Connect, Direct Send and Direct Talk iDEN-based PTT features. The Motorola Stature i9 will be available through all Sprint Nextel channels for $200 after rebates with a new two-year service agreement in March. Boost Mobile will be selling it for $300 by the end of February. Boost Mobile does not require contracts.
