Alltel Intros New Mobile Email Client

Today Alltel Wireless announced a new mobile email client for Windows Mobile devices as well as some feature phones. The software needs to be downloaded to the handset. Once it is, users need only type in their username and password once for the email service of their choice. The new software also syncs with Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA). OWA lets people sync their work calendars and contacts without IT support or the need to run any software inside a corporate firewall. The software is compatible with the following handsets: HTC Touch Pro, Touch Diamond, PPC 6800, and Touch; Motorola Q, K1m, RAZR V3a and Q9C; Palm Treo 700wx; Samsung Delve and Hue; and the LG Scoop.
