New documents sighted on the FCC Web site reveal a few details about a new Casio phone, the Exilim NX-9250. The Exilim 9250 has dual-band CDMA/EVDO Rev. A and Bluetooth radios. These are preliminary approval documents, so not much else is known or revealed about this device. However, Casio has a good relationship with Verizon Wireless, which sells its G'zOne line of rugged phones. The "Exilim" designation is what Casio uses for its stand-alone digital cameras. A new phone with that branding combined with EVDO Rev. A suggests that Casio is making a higher-end cameraphone for Verizon Wireless. Neither Casio nor Verizon have announced this device.
