Today AT&T and ChaCha announced a new partnership. ChaCha is a short-code based search tool for mobile phones. ChaCha provides free answers to any question sent from any activated wireless phone. Questions can cover any topic, from science to culture to sports. Send any question to 242242 and a reply is sent back via text message several minutes later. The search queries are routed to real people who have been registered by ChaCha as experts. The experts generate the answer and push it back out to the sender. The two companies will work together to grow ChaCha's search business.
