Today RIM and T-Mobile announced the BlackBerry 8900 in Germany. RIM also said that the 8900 will be launching in most other countries, including the U.S., in the first quarter of 2009. The 8900 has quad-band GSM/EDGE, Wi-Fi and GPS radios. It has a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash and autofocus. It supports microSDHC cards up to 16GB, has a 512MHz processor, and the 2.4-inch screen measures 480 x 360 pixels for HVGA+ resolution. RIM did not say exactly when the 8900 will be available in the U.S., nor how much it will cost.
