Samsung Surpasses Motorola in the U.S.

Motorola lost the number one handset provider position to Samsung after its market share fell in the third quarter to 21.1%. Samsung made gains and grabbed 22.4%, edging out Motorola for the top spot. Motorola had been number one in the U.S. since 2004.
