Google has released GMail for Mobile 2.0 today for BlackBerry smartphones and other devices running Java platforms. Google has streamlined the client and made it faster and more reliable to use, including faster scrolling and no freezing. Google also added a number of new features, such as multiple account management, multiple mobile email drafts, shortcut keys for phones equipped with QWERTY keyboards, and basic functionality even when the phone is offline. The new Gmail software can be downloaded for free.
